I was getting around 6-7 unwanted calls per day, and then i came to know about the DONOT CALL REGISTRY. it worked for me to stop all unwanted call they should start something like Do not call ever legislation!

The official site for National Do not call registry, if even after registering you number some marketing company is pestering you it has all the details on how to take appropriate action.

If you have problems to sign up the registry. call up your customer service department and they will enter it for you.

How to use : i’m using Airtel post paid connection, the link will ask you for your number, and when submitting, they will send you a 4 digit authentication code as a SMS, after entering that code your number will be successfully added to the DNC registry. and they will send you a confirmation SMS also. it will take upto 48 hours to activate your status.
